receipts2excel.ca uses AI vision technology to read your receipt photos automatically. Upload a batch of photos, and within seconds our system extracts the merchant name, date, net amount, tax lines (GST, HST, PST, TPS/TVQ — whatever is on the receipt), and payment method for each one.

We handle this by reading the actual tax labels from each receipt — TPS/TVQ in Quebec, HST in Ontario, GST+PST in BC and other provinces — and recording them exactly as they appear. We don’t calculate or infer taxes. What’s on the receipt is what goes in the spreadsheet.
Your receipt photos contain sensitive financial information. We take that seriously. Receipt images are processed in memory and never written to disk or retained after your session ends. No account is required, and no data is stored beyond your 20-minute session.
